Beach Sounds was recorded by the Department of Information deep in the wilderness of South Florida and Coastal New York State using field recorders.

The limited-run cassette tape is two sides, 35 minutes total. The double-sided newsprint poster is 19.5”x27.5” when fully unfolded.
