The Department of Information’s Natural Earth Field Recordings Volume Two: Upstate New York and the Hudson Valley is 40 minutes of ambient soundscapes recorded in stereo in the mountains, forests, backwoods, rivers, swamps, and fields of New York State.

A small batch/limited run of 12-inch clear vinyls were produced, along with an accompanying National Parks-style folded companion guide featuring photos and coordinates of recording locations, and are available for sale here.
